- 5 @ 35-40%
- 3 @ 45-55%
- 2 @ 65%
- 1 @ 70-75%, 80-85%, 90-95%
*fewer sets will be needed on the strict press
*you have 3 attempts to hit a 1RM once the warm-up progression is complete
*1RM load suggestions: first attempt = something you can do for 3, second attempt = a load you do for 2, third attempt = new 1RM hopefully
