What's Inside A CrossFitter's Bag?
While I can't speak for every CrossFitter out there, I can tell you what's inside my gym bag. In fact, I'll show you:
What’s in Coach’s Bag?
Bag: King Kong Giant (the last gym bag you’ll ever buy. 2 shoe compartments, 3 side pockets, 1 end pocket with 2mini pockets and a divider. This, combined with monster stitching, robust (yes, robust) zippers & buckles. It’s pretty much the best.
2 Pairs of Shoes:
1 pair of Adidas Weightlifting shoes (Perfect for squats and dedicated OLY lifting, not so great for anything else. Raised heel, stable platform, a strap for stability and general badassery)
1 pair of Nike Metcons, sometimes Reebok Nanos – gotta spread the love (perfect for WODs)
Weightlifting straps (for heavy snatch & clean pulls &/or copious hang snatches)
2 Rx Jump Ropes (when you spin this fast, you need a back-up … is what I’d like you to believe, but the truth is, sometimes I step on my rope and it explodes)
1 Lacrosse Ball (you never know when you might play a pick-up game of lacrosse or need to mobilize a sticky spot on this gracefully aging body)
1 Mobility Band
1 Weightlifting Belt (for squats, deads and OLY lifts over 80%)
1 roll of goat tape (wrists and thumbs)
1 stick of deodorant
1 canister of Aminocore (BCAAs)
1 canister of PowderBurn pre-workout
1 canister Blonyx HMB & Creatine
1 canister of Blonyx Beta-Alanine
1 pair of knee sleeves (to hide the cracking noises from my fellow CrossFitters. VERY distracting)
2 shirts (because two is often better than 1)
1 pair compression shorts (if you’re a man, and you keep the bar close in the lifts, you’ll understand)
1 pair shorts (because some things are best left to the imagination)
(not shown, 1 callus razor, 1 stick of lip balm, 1 shaker bottle, old man strength, the smell)
